Completer Finisher and Administrator wanted to work with the Be Smart About Art team!

Be Smart About Art is looking for a Completer-Finisher and Administrator. Read on for information on the role and details of how to apply.

About the role: Completer Finisher Job Purpose

The role is freelance 4-8 hours a week at a rate of £15/hour primarily working from the home office of Founder and Director Susan J Mumford in Lewes, Sussex. 

Duties + Responsibilities

  • Monitor email inbox: respond to messages (incl website enquiries), file messages; 

  • Follow-up conversations via telephone / Skype; 

  • Create event listings (eventbrite, facebook, website);

  • Make changes to the website as instructed (uploading blog posts, adding content to the Members’ Gateway and updating other pages);

  • Transfer webinars + podcasts from hardware to the Internet; 

  • Arrange team meetings + retreats; 

  • Administer 1-2-1 program (from enquiries to tracking);  

  • Administer professional development programme (bookings, questions, posting of BSAA products); 

  • Add subscribers to the mailing list (from paper-based opt-in); 

  • Administer Membership database (also incl updating email list for members only);   

  • Update Client Relationship Management (CRM) platform; 

  • Scan feedback forms and add testimonials to the database; 

  • Fulfil book and other product orders (incl sending follow-up message to buyers); and

  • Other tasks as required.

Abilities and Skills

> High attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills

> Presentable and professional

> Technology savvy with willingness to learn new platforms. 

> Existing knowledge of Google Drive (and potentially g Suite), Mailchimp (or equivalent), email communication clients (incl automatically filing of emails) + a range of cloud-based applications and software

Interviews: 10 minute phone interviews will take place on 30th August. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to a second in person interview on the morning of either 2nd or 6th September.
