Join this evening event in London to get insight from art world experts. 

The event will kick-off with the esteemed and experienced panelists providing insight on how they have come to build effective relationships and collaborations, based on real-life experiences. This will be followed by the talk's focus: A Q+A, which is set to result in a lively and informative conversation focusing on Building Relationships in the Art World. This discussion will be moderated by Susan Mumford, BSAA Founder and an art world specialist. 

Note that there will be open networking and shopping (CASS ART is kindly offering a 10% discount to event attendees) between 6.30-7.00pm. The talk takes place 7.00-8.30pm. There will be an opportunity for after-event mixing and mingling, with departures by 9.00pm.

Having built an impressive career in the art world over the past seven years, she's Marine is updating the working model for artists and their representatives alike, to reflect the changing needs and opportunities in the digital age. 

She took her first directorial position at a Soho, London, gallery at the age of 21, which was followed by launching De Re Gallery in Los Angeles at 23.

In 2015, she launched MTArt, an innovative artist agent that works with a select group of up-and-coming visual artists from around the globe. Specialising in talent management which includes building, growing and accelerating artists' careers, MTArt's motto is: "Don't Invest in Art, Invest in Artists."

Sylvie Gormezano 

Sylvie has collected art for more than 20 years and is a former consultant at the Economist Newspaper Group and an expert in the arts for the European Commission in Brussels. She has a passion and commitment to promote contemporary and emerging creative talent.

Currently, Sylvie curates one-off exhibitions in London and south-west France - often in locations appropriate to specific artworks, and creates events to showcase art collections and artists’ work. She is also the Chair of the Association of Women Art Dealers (AWAD) and a Professional Enterprise Mentor.

Tim Benson

As an artist who specialises in oil paintings of people enduring suffering or stigmatisation, Tim's 'building awareness through painting.' He's committed to working with charities and NGOs to tell the stories of people throughout the world who don’t have a voice. Painted portraits speak to people in a way that the written word and photography cannot. Tim’s exhibitions engage people with important global challenges and build awareness through painting.

Tim accepts commissions from organisations whose work aligns with his as well as private and individual commissions.

Susan Mumford 

A game-changer in the 21st Century art world, Susan’s an entrepreneur, mentor, speaker, moderator and author.

While running her gallery in Soho, London, she founded the Association of Women Art Dealers (AWAD), a non-profit trade network with three chapters: London, New York and Global.

This was followed by her launching Be Smart About Art, an online-accessible platform based out of London that helps creative professionals thrive in a changing world.

In late 2015, her first book was published in the name of BSAA’s motto: Art is your life. Make it your living. 

While based in London, Susan spends notable periods in the USA and Continental Europe, visiting art fairs, delivering lectures, running panel discussions and more.
